Just like her clients, no two programs are alike.

Lisa’s Story

“I’m known globally by colleagues, clients, the public and the press as The Running Nutritionist®. My journey as a professional triathlete and runner dates back to 1984 but was cut short three years ago by a near-fatal hit-and-run car accident. As I learned to survive and thrive, I developed a deep understanding of the long road to healing physically and emotionally.

“While I am no longer a pro athlete or competing at a professional level, I think, feel, fuel and continue to train as an athlete. I have the privilege of working with some of the finest athletes in the world — Olympians, our military, first responders and “everyday athletes” who want to perform better at sports, school, work or home.

“I believe we are all athletes in life, just looking for tools and strategies to help us navigate the marathons that are our lives. We all want to ride out our challenges, celebrate the good times and live our best lives with the people we love. It takes courage to reach out to a therapist and take the first steps toward a more fulfilling and happier life.”

Testimonials

As a committed Miami nutritionist and fitness coach, Lisa has helped thousands of men and women, their children and children’s children to unlock their potential, harness their inner power and optimize their health.

I’ve tried therapy several different times switching therapists and practices. Just when I was ready to throw in the towel, I was matched with Lisa. We’ve made huge strides in not only my mental health journey but also my overall health. She has several different techniques I’ve never been introduced to, as well as the ability to actually connect and help me open up. With past therapists I’ve had a hard time opening up or knowing where to even begin, but with Lisa it has come very naturally to discuss concerns. Specifically, she has supported my sobriety, anxiety, depression and relationship issues. She’s never late, never rushes me, always remembers past conversations we’ve had and takes the time to work with me one-on-one — even when I don’t have appointments scheduled.”

- M.R., 53 Years Old

“Lisa is an amazing therapist! She’s offered a large number of ways to help me manage stress, anxiety and guilt! It is always a pleasure to have an appointment with her. She does not judge you for anything whatsoever. I cannot recommend her enough!”

- L.R., 30 Years Old

"I will always thank you personally for being there in the worst moments of my life. I will take you in my heart. I follow you on Instagram, and when I see you there, you make me smile. Again, thank you professionally for being such a professional consultant and being able to enter in our Sony adventure and ‘walk and run’ with us. But personally, I thank you only for being so supportive and making my life easier"

- C.A., 45 years old, Sony Pictures Entertainment (Corporate Wellness Program)

“I’m bummed I won’t have the ability to continue with you as I am leaving Miami, but I wanted to thank you for your sessions and helping me through a very critical time of my life. Because of you, I am going to continue my therapy back home. Thanks again!”

- J.H., 33 Years Old

“I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have helped me overcome some of the largest triggers in my life and helped me close doors in my past that I couldn’t do alone. Because of our discussions, your words of wisdom and support, I am taking steps forward. I look forward to staying in touch in the future, and I hope you know that I will be forever grateful that I got to meet you!”

- S.R., 42 years old, Sony Pictures Entertainment (Corporate Wellness Program)
